(CPSU) Pierre Gabriel San Jose presented Central Philippines State University's innovative research on MoNaRC (Monitoring for Natural Resources Conservation) at the International Conference on Environmental Science held on November 6-8, 2024 at Palawan State University, Puerto Princesa Palawan.
Mr. San Jose, the Project and Research Assistant of the Research and Development Services, shared the developments under the MoNaRC project on behalf of co-authors CPSU President Dr. Aladino C. Moraca, and Dr. Angelie Rose L. Lumba in the event organized by the Palawan State University (PSU), the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), the Philippine Environmental Science Association (PESA), and the School of Environmental Science and Management (SESAM).
Mr. San Jose shared crucial insights into environmental science, underscoring the university’s commitment to ecological sustainability and conservation in the esteemed global forum, reflecting CPSU’s zeal for the advancement of environmental studies and the formation of valuable collaborations with international researchers.
“CPSU participation in the event hopefully will attract more potential partnerships for future initiatives—these engagements enabling CPSU to advance its research agenda, gain valuable feedback, and stay abreast of cutting-edge techniques and approaches in Environmental Conservation Science,” said Mr. San Jose when asked about the significance of the university’s participation in the conference.
