The administration of Central Philippines State University is vested in the Board of Regents as mandated/constituted by law. The Administration of the state university and the exercise of its corporate powers are vested exclusively in the Board and insofar as authorized by the Board, the President of the State University.
The CPSU Board of Regents is composed of the Chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education; the President of the Central Philippines State University, who is the Vice-Chair; with members, the Senator who is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Higher, Technical and Vocational Education; the Congressman who is the Chairman of the Committee on Higher and Technical Education; the Regional Director of National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Region VI; the Regional Director of Department of Agriculture (DA) Region VI; and the Regional Director of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region VI. CPSU as multi-campus University, membership to the Board by the Faculty, Students and Alumni is from their respective Federated representatives and two (2) prominent citizens within the province as Private Sector Representatives.
