Marayum is a dictionary-making funded by the Department of Science and Technology that can be used as an online dictionary for Philippine Indigenous Languages.
Marayum was developed to allow interested language communities to create an online dictionary whose content would be owned by its members and peer-reviewed by language experts. The features entries and content is a community-based effort done by people who speak and practice the language.
The website itself is owned and run by a research team from the University of the Philippines Diliman, and they are working in partnership with select regional universities.

The project aims to provide STI (Science, Technology, and Innovation)-based content in various formats to students and other constituents in geographically-isolated and economically-challenged schools and communities. STARBOOKS contains hundreds of thousands of digitized science and technology resources in multiple formats (text and video/audio) placed in specially designed "pods" set in a user-friendly interface.
