The Central Philippine State University (CPSU) warmly welcomes the arrival of international and local delegates for the 2nd International Conference scheduled to take place from November 14 to 17, 2023, at Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
This year's conference on "School-plus-Home Gardens cum Biodiversity Enhancement and Enterprise (SHGBEE2)," is hosted by the CPSU Research and Development Center in collaboration with SEARCA and Kansas State University, showcasing a comprehensive exploration of innovative practices in agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and entrepreneurial initiatives.
Among those extending a gracious welcome to the 2nd batch of guests and participants were Dr. Joean Escober, Director for International Affairs, Dr. Michael Bacolod, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Dr. Jimmy Degillo, Director for Extension and Community Services, along with Ms. Charity Vergara representing CBM, and Ms. Bella Supe of CAS.
The conference promises to be a melting pot of ideas, knowledge exchange, and collaborative efforts, marking a significant milestone in fostering global partnerships for sustainable development in the realms of education, agriculture, and environmental conservation.
