𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗣𝗦𝗨

The Internationalization Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability or ICONS Awards 2024 and a Certificate of Commendation were officially received by the Central Philippines State University last December 16.

 CPSU International Affairs Director, Dr. Joean Mae Escober received the award on behalf of the university during the awarding ceremony held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

 The tokens were personally conferred by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson, Hon. J. Prospero E. de Vera III, and CHED Commissioners—the certificate of commendation reading "In recognition of [its] enduring commitment towards internationalization of Philippine higher education and their exemplary performance in the following globally-recognized rankings and ratings: 'Times Higher Education Impact Rankings - Rank 1501+', 'World University Rankings for Innovation - Rank 164'.”

 Present in the event were CHED Regional Office 6 (RO6) Regional Director, Dr. Raul C. Alvarez Jr., CESO III, CHED Deputy Executive Director IV, Atty. Lily Freida M. Milla, CESO IV, and representatives of awardee universities from all the political regions of the Philippines.

 Last October 22, the CHED IAS announced the ICONS Awards 2024 awardees per region, CPSU being recognized with four other universities in Region 6 which is a testament to the steadfast commitment of the university to establish its programs and itself in the global limelight—inspiring change through its leading technologies and programs with sincere heart for Filipinos and the world.
