The faculty and administrative staff of Central Philippines State University planted 550 trees in the tree-planting outreach program at two sites within the universityโs land reserve.
Spearheaded by the Universityโs Natural Resources and Environmental Management Services, headed by Mr. Gregorio D. Predo, the participants trekked towards Legacy Park 4 and Legacy Park 3 on the CPSU Main Campus for the activity.
The participants planted various native trees like Bogo, Alolawihaw, Dracontomelon Dao, and Lumangog, Binalukay, and Narra tree to avoid the banes of introducing non-native tree species.
