Clad in their graduation robes, 85 graduates from Central Philippines State University โ Sipalay Campus received their diplomas, commemorating the end of their undergraduate journey.
Held today, August 1 at CPSU-Sipalayโs newly inaugurated Covered Court, the 25th Commencement Exercises was celebrated with the theme โGraduates 2024: Advancing Professional Excellence through Internationalization.โ
85 graduates from Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, and Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness were confirmed by CPSU Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fernando D. Abello, on behalf of University President, Dr. Aladino C. Moraca, after being presented by the Campus Administrator, Dr. Ervin F. Ferraris.
Department of Education - Himamaylan City Schools Division Superintendent, Maโam Gladys Amylaine D. Sales, CESO V, delivered the Commencement Address for the graduates who will be facing the professional world and imparted, โMost importantly, contribute to building the nation. I hope that you feel in your hearts that you are happy to be helping the country. Therefore, in terms of internationalization, please always remember that you are a Filipino even if you find yourself working abroad; that your country is looking for you and is waiting for you.โ
Negros Occidental Sixth District Representative Hon. Mercedes โChedingโ K. Alvarez, Sipalay City Mayor Hon. Maria Gina M. Lizares, and Vice Mayor Hon. Oscar C. Montilla, Jr. congratulated the graduates of batch 2024 through their respective representatives Ms. Angelica G. Alvarez, Engr. Praem L. Mediodia, and Mr. Florante T. Rufino; Dr. Abello also imparted essential encouragement through his insightful speech.
