DAY 1 | November 14, 2023 - About 67 guests and participants in the 2nd International Conference on School-plus-home Gardens cum Biodiversity Enhancement Enterprise (SHGBEE2) visit the Tabugon Farm School at Tabugon Elementary School, Kabankalan City for their first Mobile Workshop.
DEPED-Kabankalan as a steadfast partner of CPSU's S+HGP engages its students and the community in the immersive learning environment of sustainable farming methods with ripple effects extending far beyond the classroom. DEPED’s role as a collaborator in this project underscores its dedication to holistic education, creating a legacy where the symbiosis of academic excellence and community development thrives.
This is what CPSU aims to showcase to the conference delegates on how the farm school's initiatives have become a source of empowerment, fostering economic resilience and environmental consciousness within the wider community.
Accompanying the delegates is the CPSU team headed by Dr. Angelie Rose Lumba, Research director, Dr. Joean Mae Escober, International Affairs director, and Dr. Aubrey Ginelle Rallos, CPSU delegation facilitator, along with MDRRMO and security staff.
