“To a better school year, to a better CPSU,” declared Engr. Marc Alexei Caesar B. Badajos, PhD, Vice President for Administration and Finance, as he welcomed Main Campus Cenphilians with an inspirational message during the first monthly convocation of Academic Year 2025–2026.

Held on July 21, 2025, Main Campus Cenphilians convened at Central Philippines State University’s (CPSU) Clemente Sports Complex to observe the longstanding occasion. which featured the theme “Embracing a Fresh Start Towards a Brighter Future.”

Engr. Badajos also recounted recent university accomplishments, including maintaining and exceeding higher education standards and feats by outdoing previous performances across multiple university worldwide rankings.

Board Secretary V, Ma’am Nelly N. Cabual, formally introduced the distinguished members of the CPSU Board of Regents, headed by Chairperson Ethel Agnes P. Valenzuela, EdD, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education, and Vice Chairperson Dr. Aladino C. Moraca, University President.

She also presented the Administrative Council members, composed of directors, college deans, and office heads who are working hand-in-hand to address institutional concerns, recommend programs and initiatives, and endorse new policies to uphold the best interest of university stakeholders.

Cenphilians from all levels, especially entrants, were also introduced to the teaching and non-teaching personnel who will be with them during their stay at CPSU.

Engr. Badajos also highlighted the offices directly under his and President Moraca’s respective leaderships, which support academic personnel in providing quality service to CPSU clientele, succeeded by the office heads and directors’ introduction of their respective personnel and office functions for students to be more informed about services available to them.

On the other hand, college deans led by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Grenny I. Jungco, introduced both new and seasoned teaching force members who will be equipping and molding students to be profession- and vocation-ready graduates—transparently sharing faculty qualifications and expertise as testament to the CPSU’s commitment to embodying state-set standards for quality higher education for all.

The Office of the Student Services and Affairs, together with the Supreme Student Government and the Future Leaders of the Philippines, organized the convocation to extend another round of warm welcome to Cenphilians to another year of learning and growth.
