Graduates of batch 2024 from Central Philippines State University โ Moises Padilla celebrated the culmination of their undergraduate chapters during the 13TH Commencement Exercises held at the campusโ covered court, August 6, 2024.
The entrance of the Philippine National Flag and the CPSU banner signified the beginning of the occasion where 167 graduands finally become graduates as the Universityโs Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fernando D. Abello confirmed them on behalf of the University President Dr. Aladino C. Moraca.
On behalf of the Municipality of Moises Padilla Mayor, Hon. Ella Celestina Garcia-Yulo, Sangguniang Bayan Member, Hon. Dowen Michael Ogatis delivered the Commencement Speech; Moises Padilla Vice Mayor, Hon. Adrian Ian Villaflor delivered an Inspirational Message and shared the inspiring story of one of the graduates, Robert Cahilig, who triumphed amidst the adversities that he faced in his studies.
Sarah Mae M. Julao from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and John Ryxl F. Juanites from the Bachelor of Elementary Education were also given recognition during the ceremony, receiving Magna Cum Laude as Latin distinctions.
โThe journey isnโt easy but itโs worth it and it has shaped us into the strong person we are today. I hope my experience shows that rushing into major life decisions isnโt wise. Take your time to pursue your dreams. Plan carefully. Make thoughtful choices. Proper preparation can help you create a successful path and achieve your goals. Remember, your future lies within your hands. The Campus Faculty from the College of Agriculture and Forestry, College of Computer Science, and the College of Teacher Education, along with the university staff clad in patriotic garments witnessed the transition of the graduands into official alumni of their alma mater.
