To ensure more seamless operations and better public service, 33 newly hired employees of Central Philippines State University attended the Orientation Program for University Newly Hired Personnel on May 3, 2024, at CPSU Main Campus Mt. Ballo Hall.
The orientation, facilitated by the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) headed by HRMO III Dr. Freia L. Vargas, included essential lectures for the attendees to familiarize themselves with the policies of the university and other established rules for Philippine civil servants.
CPSU’s top management motivated the attendees as Vice President for Finance and Administration Dr. Marc Alexei Caesar B. Badajos led the oath for government workers and delivered an opening message that was followed by President Aladino C. Moraca’s inspirational message.
Dr. Vargas discussed Policies on Government Working Hours, Omnibus Rules on Leave, SALN, and Personnel Discipline; HRMO II Ms. Shenna Mae Z. Tanilon tackled RA 6713 or Rules Implementing the Code of Conduct, and Ethical and Standards for Public Officials and Employees.
CPSU Board Secretary Ma’am Nelly N. Cabual presented the University’s Key Officials, while Ma’am Charity G. Tonog, Ma’am Christine V. Tagubilin, and Accountant III Mr. Elfred M. Sumongsong expounded on GSIS, SSS, PAG-IBIG, PHILHEALTH, BIR, Accounting Matters, Update Issues, and other concerns.
The program, which started at 8:00 am and ended at 5:00 pm on the same day, is expected to be reconducted in the future for another batch of newly hired university personnel employed under the National Budget Circular No. 589 s. of 2022 or the Revised Organization and Staffing Standards for SUCs - Phase I.
