University President, Dr. Aladino C. Moraca, on behalf of Central Philippines State University, signed deeds of usufruct with Hon. Raymundo R. Meleloa and Hon. Rosavilla R. Vito, representatives of Barangay Tagukon and Barangay Camingawan, Kabankalan City, respectively.
The ceremonial signing of the deeds of usufruct was held at the President’s office last August 16, 2024, entailing the granting of the rights to use a land area at Brgy. Tagukon for a sub-project, “Concreting of Community Access Road” with 1,200 square meters, and a land area of Brgy. Camingawan for the construction of the Purok Lumboy Foot Bridge.
The access road and the footbridge are foreseen to have advantageous economic impacts on the lives of the locals as they enable improved accessibility for pedestrians and motorists, allowing faster transportation for the community, and swifter delivery of goods and services.
Dr. Moraca who perceives the significance of the target projects in making the day-to-day activities of the locals more convenient, has led the university in championing the needs of the underprivileged and neglected groups in the Philippine society.
Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fernando D. Abello, CPSU’s Legal Officer, Atty. Racel D. Malalu-an, together with the representatives from each of the barangays also witnessed the event in support of the projects to be implemented.
