The College of Teacher Education conducted the Students' Research Colloquium 2024 on July 4-5, 2024, at the Accreditation Center on the Central Philippines State University Main Campus, themed "Revitalizing Research Culture: Innovative Research and Collaboration in Education."
The students showcased their research studies and received evaluations from a panel of experts, Dr. Araceli Doromal, PESERE Research Fellow, and Dr. Joel M. Bual, Research Professor of UNO-R Graduate School.
Bernard D. Hudierez and Mark Kyle D. Combate, Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) major in Science students, were conferred the Best Research Paper Award for their research study titled “Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Rhizome Juice and Garlic (Allium sativum) Clove Juice as Organic Insecticide Solution against Red Cotton Stainer (Dysdercus cingulatus) Infesting Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) Pods.”
Janice B. Cabrillos, Ems J. Pinongpong, and Erica B. Gatoc, BSED major in English students, authors of the research study title “Comparative Analysis between Dharman and Sameer Bhavnani Short Video Films” were also awarded with the Best Presenter Award.
This Student Research Colloquium provided an important opportunity for students to present their academic work and improve their professional abilities, a dynamic venue where promising students may participate, acquire knowledge, and make contributions to the community.
