The Department of Science and Technology, Central Philippines State University, and cooperating agencies officially donated three IT educational packages to beneficiaries from Negros Occidental Districts 1, 2, and 3.

Three IT educational packages, each including four sets of desktop computers, a desktop computer with STARBOOKS, and one VISSER Kit, were delivered to three learning institutions, from the said districts on May 16-17, 2024.
Escalante City’s Floro T. Bongco Farm School, Sagay City’s Bulanon Farm School, and Talisay City’s Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School received the packages.
The initiative is part of the Pandayan ng Bayan Project funded by the DOST - Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology (CEST) with counterparts from the implementing agency, CPSU and cooperating agencies namely RU Foundry & Machine Shop Corporation, Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas, Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU), Philippine Normal University – Visayas (PNUV), and State University of Northern Negros (SUNN).

Under the leadership and direction of CPSU President Dr. Aladino C. Moraca, Project Leader Dr. Maryvic P.
