The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XVIII–Negros Island Region (CHEDRO NIR) monitored and evaluated all eleven Graduate School programs and the Bachelor of Arts major in Social Science program of Central Philippines State University (CPSU).

 The monitoring and evaluation, held last August 6, 2026, was conducted to ensure that the university’s programs continually adhere to the Commission's minimum requirements and are consistently anchored to the levels of educational qualifications and qualification outcomes standards set by the Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF).

 Education Supervisors Dr. Benrie James B. Nufable, Dr. Louie U. Callora, and Dr. Jose Leonardo S. Degillo, together with Education Program Specialist Mr. Christian O. Cordero, formed the official CHEDRO–NIR delegation and were warmly received by the CPSU team at the Main Campus Accreditation Center.

 This exchange set the tone for a productive and transparent evaluation process, emphasizing the shared goal of upholding and enhancing academic standards in the region.

 The core monitoring process included the following processes: (1) Presentation and Evaluation of Documents; (2) Document Evaluation and Validation; (3) Interview/Clarification with Program Officials and Personnel; and (4) Facility or Physical Inspection and Validation.

 College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Dean, Dr. Mary Noreen Grace P. Leduna-Jaranilla, welcomed the participants and said, “As we convene for this vital monitoring and evaluation initiative under the CHEDRO–NIR, we reaffirm our collective dedication to strengthening higher education standards. This serves not merely as an assessment of compliance but as a collaborative platform to assure that higher education institutions continue to deliver quality, accessible, and responsible learning experiences tailored to the needs of our newly unified administrative region, the NIR. May this activity inspire meaningful insights, deepen continuous institutional alignment, and propel CHEDRO-NIR toward higher standards of excellence in public service. Thank you for all your commitment, and welcome to our fruitful and dynamic evaluation session today.”

 Doctor Jaranilla led her college faculty and staff, and Prof. Riza Stephanie A. Alfaras headed the CPSU-Graduate School in presenting the respective relevant evaluation documents and in responding to the queries about their offered programs, while Dr. Jirec A. Bacongco showcased the services available and accessible to the student clientele.

 The activity concluded on the afternoon of the said date, as the CHED evaluation team announced the initial results from the undertaking, to which the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Grenny I. Jungco, on behalf of the University President, Dr. Aladino C. Moraca, responded with the State of Commitment in his closing remarks.

 The university continues to adhere to and submit to the programs and undertakings set forth by the CHED, recognizing the significance of steadfast monitoring and evaluation to ensure quality higher education services for Filipino students.
