To promote healthy eating habits and foster a culture of wellness among Cenphilians, Central Philippines State University (CPSU) conducted its second university convocation for Academic Year 2026–2027 and culminated its Nutrition Month celebration on July 27, 2026, at the Clemente Sports Complex.

Registered Nutritionist and Dietitian, Ma’am Annabelle A. Portillo, joined the undertaking as the resource speaker, equipping students with valuable knowledge on the major food groups, macro- and micronutrients, the leading causes of death in the Philippines, and the importance of maintaining a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle to prevent diseases and improve overall well-being.

Students competed on the breadth of their knowledge about nutrition during the Quiz Bee segment of the program, helping to form a more well-informed and health-conscious Cenphilian community through an engaging avenue for learning that fosters sportsmanship amidst competition.

The Calisthenics performance, Balangaw Dance Troupe production, and the unity dance led by the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED) students hyped the crowd while promoting physical fitness as an essential component of a healthy lifestyle with their performances.

The Future Leaders of the Philippines, with their adviser, Asst. Prof. Annalyne D. Recaña, and the Office of Student Services and Affairs (OSSA), headed by its Office Dean, Dr. Aubrey Ginelle P. Rallos, made the event possible through their collaborative efforts.
