In partnership with Urdaneta City University (UCU), Central Philippines State University (CPSU) successfully conducted the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Program for their respective Graduate Schoolsโ€™ Master's in Public Administration (MPA) students.

Dr. Joe-an May G. Escober, the Director of CPSUโ€™s International Affairs and Linkages Office and current CPSU โ€“ Victoriasโ€™ Administrator, represented the Philippines in the international academic collaboration with UCU and other participating universities from various countries.

Dr. Escober joined the roster of distinguished collaborators from other universities like Bangladeshโ€™s University of Liberal Arts; Indonesiaโ€™s University Islam Bandung and Universitas Persada Indonesia; Greeceโ€™s National and Kapodistrian University of Athens; Ghanaโ€™s University of Technology and Applied Sciences; and Malaysiaโ€™s Universitas Malaysia Perlis.

Doctor Escober participated by sharing her expertise and insights in the Administration, Supervision, and Management of Educational Programs in ASEAN (MEM 205) course, conducted via synchronous video conferencing.

The COIL program lessons catered to students in partnership with educators from Bangladesh, Ghana, Greece, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, who enriched the discussion in the course while providing the learners with exposure to engage in international academic collaboration.

Graduate School Dean, Dr. Riza Stephanie A. Alfaras, also delivered the opening remarks during the opening program of the virtual international undertaking, which lasted for one month, where MPA students from CPSU โ€“ Graduate School were integrated into a global classroom with other MPA students from the participating universities.

In conclusion, the COIL program exemplified the value of global academic collaboration, fostering cross-cultural understanding and professional growth among participants by exposing them to a wider perspective from the collaborative pool of knowledge by their classmates and the esteemed research speakers from other parts of the globe.

Through this partnership, students and educators alike gained valuable insights and experiences that will continue to benefit their academic and professional journeys.
