Wearing hoods with royal blue and yellow accents on their graduation robes, Cenphilians celebrate the culmination of their four-year baccalaureate program.
The sole Summa Cum Laude and Highest Academic Honors awardee, Ms. Lyka Rose Manuba, led the processional march in the 15th Commencement Exercises of Central Philippines State UniversityโMoises Padilla Campus on May 19, 2026.
Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness (BSAB) Program Head Sir Efraim B. Sumagaysay and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) Head and Campus Administrator Dr. Rosemie G. Gequilana presented one hundred eleven (111) BSAB and one hundred three (103) BEED candidates for graduation who were confirmed by University President Dr. Aladino C. Moraca.
Mr. John Berlin V. Leonor, Co-founder and Digital Marketing Lead of RuralNative, shared invaluable nuggets of wisdom that he had learned and embraced to succeed in the industry that he is currently in, highlighting the vitality of trust, experience, and humility as core takeaways for the graduates to thrive in as they enter the real world of employment.
The CPSU-Moises Padilla Batch 2026 also produced seven (7) Magna Cum Laude Latin distinction awardees who manifested commendable academic performances in their undergraduate courses.
Mr. Mark Andre J. Gamboa, Class President, led the recitation of the Pledge of Loyalty, while Maโam Nelly N. Cabual, Board Secretary V, led the Alumni Pledge among the graduates who had finally turned their graduation caps' tassels and received their diplomas.
In the morning of May 19, the solemn Baccalaureate Mass was celebrated by the Cenphilian community with Rev. Fr. Jose Gerson P. Te-ad, Parish Priest of San Isidro Labrador Parish, and Rev. Fr. Gabriel S. Moncada, Moises Padilla Parochial Vicar, followed by the symbolic Hooding Ceremony, where graduands were officially conferred their graduation gowns and caps.
University key officials joined the academic council members, faculty, and staff of the Moises Padilla Campus in the graduation rites, which highlighted the theme "Empowered by Knowledge and Skills, Committed to Service, Ready to Lead.โ
Cenphilians ended their graduation ceremony by singing their graduation song and dancing to their graduation dance, with the lyrics, โAnd now we stand with heads held high; with grateful hearts we testify.โ
