Conveying her inspirational message to Cenphilian cadets, Hon. Congresswoman Mercedes “Cheding” K. Alvarez, Representative of the Sixth Congressional District of Negros Occidental, graced the Cadet Officer Candidate Course (COCC) Closing Ceremony.

 Certificates of Completion were conferred to Central Philippines State University (CPSU) cadets of Class 01–2025, while Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the training staff in the ceremony held last October 25, as part of the university’s Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), one of the components of the National Service Training Program (NSTP).

 SGT ROGACIANO V ARIB (INF) PA, CPSU Operation NCO, presented the COCC graduates, while MAJ FERNANDO D OLIVEROS JR (RET) PA, CPSU ROTC Commandant, formally declared their graduation.

 The university's Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), Dr. Grenny I. Jungco, also delivered his inspirational message, imbued with the ideals of nationalism, volunteerism, commitment, discipline, and love for the graduating cadet class.

 In addition, Dr. Salvador C. Castor, Jr., NSTP Director, and Sgt. Michel E. Betongga, RCrim, FIS, MSCJ, MPA, University ROTC Coordinator respectively conveyed the opening and closing remarks for the well-anticipated culmination ceremony.

 The community singing of nationalistic songs Awit Kawal and Pilipinas Kong Mahal concluded the ceremony in solemn celebration of diligence, perseverance, resilience, and love of country.
