Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) cadets of the academic year 2023-2024 were officially recognized as part of the reserved forces of the Philippines during the ROTC Closing Ceremony 2024, last July 5.
Facilitated by Central Philippines State Universityโs ROTC Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Military Science and Tactics, and the Community Defense Center, the ROTC Closing Ceremony was attended by cadets from the Main Campus and from various CPSU campuses through videoconferencing.
Certificates of completion and several awards were conferred to the cadets, recognizing their commendable performance during their ROTC course and readiness to serve the country as reserve personnel.
Commandant CPT FERNANDO D OLIVEROS JR (QMS) PA, encouraged the new reserve personnel to continue pursuing their dreams, to persevere for more challenges that they will be facing, and to prepare by keeping themselves updated with the news and current affairs of the country, in his keynote speech.
CPSU Main Campus' ROTC Coordinator Instr. Emmanuel Onofre announced the presentation and turnover of graduates, and Director for Physical, Plant, and Facilities/General Services Dr. Moody S. Deocares introduced the keynote speaker of the event.
