Central Philippines State University faculty and staff convened at Kabankalan City plaza for the 126th Philippine Independence Day Celebration last June 12.

CPSU joined the Independence Day parade along with various government agencies and private institutions.

The occasion culminated with a program, following the flag ceremony, both facilitated by the local government unit of the City of Kabankalan.

The university recognizes the significance of the event in the identity and sovereignty of the Philippines as a nation—remembering the heroism and sacrifices as well as the sorrows and joys of the past, that paved the way for the freedom that we, Filipinos, solemnly and profoundly enjoy today.
