Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS) researchers, and Utsunomiya University professor and students visited Central Philippines State University - Main Campus on May 24, 2024.

The visitors from the renowned Japanese agencies, assisted by SRA’s Deputy Administrator Attorney Ignacio Santillana, met with CPSU President Dr. Aladino C. Moraca.

The team went to Camingawan – Tagukon Farmer’s Association (CATAFA) field area to conduct site inspection and validation—the validation conducted for prospect research study collaboration for Soil Studies.

Production and Enterprise Development Office Director Dr. Marivic P. Pedrosa and Farmer Leader Arnel T. Calago, briefed the team about the history of the school, its best practices conducted in terms of water management, and the university's extension works for farmer associations present within the CPSU reserve.
