The administration of Central Philippines State University is vested in the Board of Regents as mandated/constituted by law. The Administration of the state university and the exercise of its corporate powers are vested exclusively in the Board and insofar as authorized by the Board, the President of the State University.
The Board is composed of the Chairperson or her duly authorized Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education, who is an ex-official Chairperson; the President of the Central Philippines State University, who is the Vice-President ;the Senator who is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Education , Arts and Culture; the Congressman who is Chairman of the Congressional Committee on Higher and Technical Education; the Regional Director of NEDA Region VI; the Regional Director of Department of Agriculture (DA) Region VI; since CPSU is multi-campus University, membership to Board by Faculty, Students and Alumni should come from their representatives Federation and two (2) prominent citizens within the province.
