Presidents of South Cotabato-based Holy Child Central College Inc. (HCCCI) and New Hope of Agriculture and Fisheries Inc. (NHSAFI) visited Central Philippines State University-Main Campus on May 28, 2025.
HCCCI President, Ma’am Marivet Caballero and NHSAFI President, Engr. Ariel Bantayan were welcomed by CPSU’s International Affairs Director, Dr. Joe-an Mae G. Escober and CPSU-Victorias Campus Administrator, Dr. Noel B. Fordente for a tour around the campus’ project sites and for partnership discussions.
With ongoing talks about the implementation of the Collaborative Online International Learning or COIL Program between HCCCI, CPSU, and other HEIs throughout the country, CPSU officials showcased the university’s ongoing initiatives and expounded on its efforts in academe and the community.
Visitors also had a first-hand experience of the Cenphilian way of life as they rode through the iconic Abada and Mahogany Avenues, and had a glimpse of Cenphilian history through the CPSU Historical and Cultural Heritage Center curated pieces.
Director Escober and HCCCI representatives alongside educators, policymakers, and academic leaders recently attended the International COIL Conference 2025 held at the Green Leaf Hotel, General Santos City, on May 21-22, 2025.
With the presence of the distinguished Atty. Lily Freida M. Milla, CESO III, OIC of the Office of the Deputy Executive Director, from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) International Affairs Services (IAS), local and international HEI internationalization figures convened in the conference for the advancement student mobility through the implementation of COIL among Philippine HEIs.
