To qualify for accreditation, a faculty must have earned a score of at least 159 for the Common Criteria for Evaluation (CCE) and the required Qualitative Contribution Evaluation (QCE). The faculty must also have at least one publication as a major author in ISI, Scopus, or CHED recognized journals.
The accreditation is a pre-requisite to promotion and appointment of all faculty members who are candidate to the rank of full-fledged professor. Dr. Teves has 164.67 CCE points and 96.95 QCE points, qualifying him for Professor I status as confirmed by PASUC National on January 11, 2018.
To those who want to apply for full professor accreditation, Dr. Teves advises: "Pursue research publication in line with your area of specialization and as a separate requirement for theses and dissertation."
