Dr. Aldwin M. Teves, Dean of Graduate School Studies, is conferred full professor accreditation by the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges Region 6 (PASUC 6).

Dr. Teves teaches statistics, mathematics and economics subjects to graduate and undergraduate students of Central Philippines State University.  He is a lecturer from the Visayas State College of Agriculture (now Leyte State University).  His research on Efficiency of Modified Lord's Test in Testing Equality of Means: Empirical Approach through Simulation with Theoretical Proof was published in the International Review of Research in Emerging Markets and the Global Economy (ISSN: 2311-3200)  in 2015.  His research on Test of Homogeneity Based on Geometric Mean of Variances was published in PEOPLE: International Journal of Social Sciences (ISSN 2454-5899) in September 2017.

Dr. Teves underwent and passed the paper and panel evaluation of the members of the PASUC NBC 461 TWG held at Iloilo Science and Technology University in Iloilo City.

The paper evaluation is based on the guidelines provided by National Budget Circular 461 (NBC 461) or the rules and regulations governing the position classification for SUCs faculty. To qualify for accreditation, a faculty must have earned a score of at least 159 for the Common Criteria for Evaluation (CCE) and the required Qualitative Contribution Evaluation (QCE).  The faculty must also have at least one publication as a major author in ISI, Scopus, or CHED recognized journals.

The accreditation is a pre-requisite to promotion and appointment of all faculty members who are candidate to the rank of full-fledged professor.  Dr.  Teves has 164.67 CCE points and 96.95 QCE points, qualifying him for Professor I status as confirmed by PASUC National on January 11, 2018.

To those who want to apply for full professor accreditation, Dr. Teves advises: "Pursue research publication in line with your area of specialization and as a separate requirement for theses and dissertation."
